About the role

The Strategy Analyst (m/f/d) delivers continuous market insights and competitive intelligence to BayWa r.e.’s global Services Business Entity. By providing valuable market analysis and business intelligence, the role contributes to the Business Entity’s strategy, competitive positioning and executive decision making.
The position can either be located at our headquarters in Munich, or at one of our other office locations in Germany. Working remotely within Germany is also an option. 

What You Will Do

  • You will analyze, monitor, create, maintain, and proactively distribute market intelligence to the organization, covering customers, competitors, technology, market trends, risks and opportunities.
  • You will drive, execute, and further develop the Business Entity´s Competitive Intelligence process to deliver timely, accurate, and valued business insights into the Services organization.
  • You will work closely with our executive team and local experts to build an intimate understanding of the organization’s continuous and dynamic internal intelligence needs.
  • You will establish, develop and maintain cost models, cost deliverables and roadmaps across the Services product portfolio.
  • You will support BayWa r.e. Services’ strategic projects , e.g. M&A, strategic partnerships.
  • You will support selected cross-organizational projects across our Business Entities (Wind and Solar Projects, Services, IPP, Energy Solutions, Solar Trade) and across our three regions (EMEA, APAC and AMER) in the delivery of strategic initiatives.

Your Profile

  • Completed Masters' Degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Sustainability
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in market research, ideally within a competitive / market intelligence function of an operative business or in a consultancy
  • Excellent skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Highly structured, organized, and attentive to details
  • Strong ability to prioritize, distill, and communicate complex information
  • First industry experience in renewables is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Structured self-starter
  • Comfortable in an international and digital environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English language skills, German or any other European languages is a plus
