Due to our growth, we are expanding our team in Edinburgh and are currently looking for a Solar Project Manager:

Your responsibilities

  • Examination and evaluation of projects in all project phases as well as new project partners
  • Implementation of all approval and planning steps to attain construction readiness of the PV-Plants
  • Coordination of the construction planning, material procurement, awarding of construction contracts and the constructional implementation
  • Securing the on-time and on-budget implementation of the plant construction as well as supporting the sales process
  • Management of the project team (control of internal and external stakeholders)
  • Consideration of processes and standards with other departments, especially EPC and Engineering

Your profile

  • Driven and able to take initiative, utilising time efficiently in order to meet deadlines effectively
  • Logical thinker and clear communicator, with solid interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Business, technical or legal university degree
  • Qualified professional experience in project management, ideally in the photovoltaic sector (minimum 3 years)
  • High degree of self-responsibility, entrepreneurial understanding and flexibility
  • Good negotiation management, coupled with high sensitivity to different mentalities and practices in an international business environment
  • Fluent spoken and written business English
  • Strong IT skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Right to work in the UK
