Due to our growth, we are expanding our Field Based team and are currently looking for a Senior Authorised Person – HV Wind to be based in the Inverness area:

Your Responsibilities

  • Understand the company’s detailed obligations in respect of any ongoing or ad hoc HV works on sites in the area. The job holder must ensure, monitor and audit compliance with those obligations.
  • Support BayWa r.e. SAP’s in performing scheduled HV maintenance and corrective HV maintenance works for FiT and ROC sites to ensure the successful ongoing operation of the plants within the area.
  • Support the Head of HV Systems to carry out HV authorisation audits and safety document audits.
  • Support the Head of HV with the updating of HV Safety Rules, authorisations, SRIC’s etc.
  • Procurement of spare parts as detailed through HV maintenance or corrective HV works.
  • Assist Head of HV, Senior Technical Manager and Procurement Manager with quoting for works.
  • Support the Head of HV with re-powering, design, power formulas and liaising with the DNOs
  • Support the Head of HV to carry out Internal training such as EAWR, LV/HV Safety training etc.

Your profile

  • Experience working on HV systems, plant and apparatus
  • Computer literate
  • Can work under own initiative
  • Team Player
  • Attention to detail
  • City & Guilds HV Training Course
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous SAP experience – providing evidence of previous switching experience from personal logbook and training records
