We are recruiting a Sales Officer for our office in Vietnam.

We have an established team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals growing our business activities by developing, constructing, and operating our renewable generation portfolio throughout the region.

Purpose:

Due to our successes to date and prospects for future growth in this market BayWa r.e. Solar Systems has opened a new entity for its solar equipment wholesale business in SEA region and we are looking for unique market leader to join us

Responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • Reporting will be to the Sales Manager

  • Sourcing potential new customers and partners mainly in Residential market and maintaining strong relations with existing clients

  • Perform sales tasks to achieve assigned sales targets and assignments

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contributing to overall region sales achievements

  • Understanding customer requirements to promote the sale of company products, services, and to provide advice and appropriate solution

  • Conferring with in-house engineers to assess equipment needs to determine system requirements

  • Providing quotations, receiving order confirmations, and supporting internal process until goods delivered

  • Providing after sales service by giving initial advice and passing to engineering team for further stage

  • Supporting the company marketing campaign to promote our products

  • Keeping updated about industry news, market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies

  • Attending product training courses and seminars to keep the product knowledge up to date

  • Other tasks as assigned

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • Solar or sales experience is preferred

  • Strong market acumen and have good market network in Vietnam solar industry

  • Must have good understanding and market knowledge of Vietnam solar market

  • Basic knowledge of INCOTERMS 2010 or INCOTERMS 2020 and Office Software

  • Possess good systematic and analytical thinking, sense of engineering problem solving skills and a customer service mind-set

  • Customer centric and motivated to sell and contribute to overall company sales performance

  • Should be able to work independently in a dynamic and high-performance environment

Is this role the right fit for you?

  • Are you Vietnamese National?

  • Do you have bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business? (Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineer degree would be preferred)

  • Do you have minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably in industrial products or renewable energy related businesses?

  • Do you have strong communication and interpersonal skills?

  • Are you fluent in English and Vietnamese language (written and spoken)?
