BayWa r.e. UK Limited is part of the international BayWa r.e. group of renewable energy businesses, with our main office based in Edinburgh, and with other locations in Cork and Glasgow. The BayWa r.e. UK team focuses on wind project development, acquisition and construction, both in the UK and Ireland.  We are excellent listeners and offer a wide range of solutions, perfectly tailored to your specific requirements.

About the role
As a result of our continued growth in the UK and the scale of our current project pipeline we are looking to recruit administrative support for our project development teams delivering green field developments, acquisitions, business case development across multiple technologies including solar PV, onshore wind and energy storage.

The role will be based in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices, travel will be expected between each office (though there is no preference for main office location)

Both Edinburgh and Glasgow offices have city centre locations close to main railway stations and public transport

Salary dependent on experience and performance.

What You Will Do

General Administration and Team Support:
  • Calendar management, and organising of internal meetings and external meetings
  • Taking meeting minutes and tracking actions
  • Arranging travel for team members
 Document Support:
  • Assistance with budget/cost trackers
  • Management of a Contract Register
 
Project Development Assistance:
  • Collation of data to support legal and compliance obligations
  • Support developers in updating their project programmes
  • Updating and maintaining our online project management tool, Workfront, with the correct information, involving regular discussion with developers
  • Filing information and setting up folder structures, ensuring consistency across all projects
  • Arranging for contract approvals and signatures, and generally supporting good governance
  • Assistance with the preparation of planning application submissions

Reporting:
  • Supporting in the provision of up to date and accurate information and preparation of presentation and reporting materials
  • Use of PowerBI, an online data software package, to ensure monthly data input and reports are up to date and accurate

 

What You Bring

The ideal candidate demonstrates:
  • Experience of supporting busy teams with administrative requirements
  • Proficient use of MS office packages (Excel, Word & Powerpoint)
It would also be helpful to have:
  • Knowledge of project management tools
  • Experience of SharePoint
Experience working within renewable energy and understanding of a typical project lifecycle would be beneficial, but not essential.
