BayWa r.e. Scandinavia AB is based in Malmö, Sweden and offers a full range of services, from initial feasibility studies, engineering and development to construction and commissioning, as well as operation of renewable assets, such as wind and solar power plants, once in place.

We use state-of-the-art data management and monitoring to ensure high yields and availability as well as setting industry standards. Among our customers are international investment companies and energy companies.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our project management team in Malmö and are currently looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) Renewable Energy Projects:

Your tasks

  • Manage project acquisition processes of project rights and sale processes of projects to be constructed
  • Initiate and analyze new projects, present them to company management and develop them through all project phases until handing over to our commercial and industrial customers
  • Continuously implement and evaluate ongoing business cases
  • Initiate and develop new business models as the energy sector is undergoing an exciting transition
  • Design project management, reporting structures and escalation processes tailored to each project
  • Create structures to plan, monitor and document progress, project plans, status and decision reports
  • Manage relationships with landowners, neighbors, politicians and clients during initiation, project development and implementation
  • Manage lessons learned processes to continuously improve our project business

Your profile

  • University degree in finance, business administration, economics, engineering, or similar educational background
  • At least 5 years of work experience in commercial project operations in the renewable energy industry or other major infrastructure projects in an international environment
  • Profound knowledge of commercializing business models, expanding existing models and launching new opportunities
  • Experience of project acquisition / sales of renewable energy projects or other major infrastructure projects is a benefit
  • Strong commercial spirit and in-depth knowledge of managing budgets and resources based on project plans, paired with good technical understanding / interest
  • Solid experience in evaluating and managing internal employees, external advisors and entrepreneurs in a wide range of technical, financial and commercial matters
  • Able to build relationships, trust and respect within teams and with other stakeholders
  • Analytical, well-structured, open to digital transformation as well as communicative, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Able to communicate fluently in Swedish and English
