We are a joint venture between renewable energy developer BayWa r.e and environmental consulting firm RESET Carbon.  By combining BayWa r.e.’s technical expertise with RESET Carbon’s corporate consulting insights, we offer business solutions for every stage of the corporate renewable energy transition.

We are looking for a Project Manager to work within our ‘carbon emission reduction and renewable energy transition team’, with a strong focus on bringing knowledge and advise to our international and Chinese clients about renewable energy opportunities in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects and developing solutions for a diverse range of multinational clients, in collaboration with our Asian and European team.

Responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • Liaise with clients, manage client relationships, and international advisory projects.
  • Manage and work closely with team members on multiple projects to ensure effective, on-time and on-budget delivery of projects in China and Asia.
  • Lead and support the team in implementing projects, particularly through research, data analysis, report writing, presentation writing and proposal writing on a wide range renewable energy strategy and implementation topics.
  • Produce reports and presentations that clearly communicate research findings, explain technical issues in a transparent and easy to understand language and make a compelling business case and recommendations tailored to the client’s needs.
  • Report to Project Leader on project progress, milestones achievement, financial performance and client satisfaction.
  • Support act renewable in knowledge management, development of tools and methodologies, to enable improved project execution and effective business development.
  • Support the development of thought leadership content as part of our sales and marketing activities.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a consultative manner with a track record of delivering practical solutions to clients on renewable energy and energy efficiency. Experiences on corporate and supply chain decarbonizing is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in environmental science, renewable energy, energy management, engineering, building services or economics
  • Good knowledge on renewable energy principles and market dynamics, e.g. technologies, regulatory mechanisms, business models, public and private stakeholders.
  • Project management experience in a related field and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
