About the role
The Project Engineer will be in charge for technical Sales Support for Prelim Projects & Post sales technical support for closed won project. Your daily work will involve planning, developing, and preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for renewable energy solutions with PV installations (rooftop, ground-mounted, carport) combined with storage solutions, E-mobility applications, and energy management systems (EMS), leaning towards pre-sales technical support or the development phase of new project opportunities.
The position will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

What You Will Do
- Plan, develop, and prepare drawings, PVsyst report, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for renewable energy solutions with PV installation combined with storage solutions, learning towards pre-sales technical support or the development phase of new project opportunities.
- Conduct technical site visits for prospective projects.
- Assist your superior on planning and enhance the operation process from pre-sales to post-sales.
- Be responsible for establishing processes to achieve operation excellence.
- Liaise closely with other engineering divisions and external parties, including suppliers, consultant, authorities, and utilities providers.
- Perform any duties as assigned which related to design and engineering.
- Oversee on-site works and review design changes within the scope of work.
- Conducting site visits, supervision of construction activities and report on-site progress.
- Quality control and safety procedures checking.
- Regular communication with the Project Manager for timely updates and issue resolution.
- Take corrective action in case of any fault and deviations & report the same to the Project Manager.
- Supervision of Testing & Commissioning.
- Plan, develop, and execute ideas, engineering solutions, or other value-added items in line with company roadmap.
- Travel frequently to sites as required.
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a relevant field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Rooftop Solar.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Experience and knowledge in the field of photovoltaic systems is a plus.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and good in English is mandatory.
- You are proficient with MS Office applications; skills with further tools in PV system design such as Helioscope, PVSol, PVsyst, and other CAD tools are a plus.
- You are assertive and work well in a team; you have good communication skills and a structured way of working.
