Product Manager PV Revamping / Repowering

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Milton Keynes and are currently looking for a Product Manager PV Revamping / Repowering:

Your tasks

  • Strategy and business development, market positioning of PV Revamping / Repowering as well as initiation of (pilot) projects as proof of concept in new markets
  • Identification of new application fields and markets for our existing PV Revamping / Repowering offerings
  • Commercial and technical optimization as well as further development of existing PV Revamping / Repowering offerings in cooperation with our technical and purchasing teams
  • Internal networking as well as facilitating and driving transfer of knowledge / best practices/ lessons learned around PV Revamping / Repowering within the BayWa r.e. group
  • Facilitating the interface to central group and business entity functions, i.e. Procurement and Marketing
  • Supporting local teams and key account management in implementation of projects
  • Leading additional works from quotation through to implementation, including management of post-FAC and onboarding punch list items
  • Leading repowering projects of solar projects including the creation of quotes, full tender management and the ongoing discussion with clients
  • Assisting the Landscaping team to prepare proposals for landscaping improvement works in accordance with planning and biodiversity
  • Develop project programmes, monitor progress and report to client and managers
  • Management of large scale warranty claims, to use as opportunities for repowering/ revamping (e.g. large scale module replacement with new models and design etc).
  • Continuously monitor and maintain excellent levels of quality and safety on site
 
 

Your profile

  • Degree in industrial engineering, business administration or similar educational background
  • Proven experience in the field of development and realization of PV systems
  • Profound knowledge of the PV industry and thorough technical understanding, background in EPC / project development is beneficial
  • Sound understanding of commercial, contractual, and legal aspects
  • High degree of personal responsibility, entrepreneurial understanding, and flexibility
  • Good negotiation skills, intercultural competence, and strong communication skills
  • Business fluent in English, an additional European language is a plus
  • Project management experience, managing construction and/or additional works.
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV and utility scale solar installations, particularly central inverters and HV
  • Experienced with procurement and supply chain management
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Good understanding of site H&S requirements
  • Experience in groundworks would be advantageous 
  • 18th Edition Electrical Regulations Qualification, NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installation would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of CDM regulations advantageous
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Possess right to work in the UK
