Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Munich and are currently looking for a PPA Manager (m,f,d):

Your tasks

  • Negotiating and closing of PPAs for BayWa r.e.’s wind and solar projects in our European focus countries
  • Coordination of all external processes, for example participation in Corporate PPA tenders, engagement with trader/ utilities and regular exchange on market developments.
  • Being part of multiple project teams (solar & wind) with typically the sole responsibility for all PPA activities in one market and internal coordination between the different stakeholders
  • Close alignment with in-house experts on PPA structures and market requests to develop off-take structures and concepts
  • Close cooperation with the sales team from BayWa r.e. Power Solutions in supporting the customer origination and selection process (off-site and on-site PPAs)

Your profile

  • University degree, preferably in economics, law or related disciplines
  • 5 years relevant professional experience in the fields of PPA negotiations, energy procurement and renewable energy project development
  • Comprehensive understanding of PPA markets, structures and processes
  • Excellent communication skills in English, ideally also in German or other languages
  • Strong negotiating skills and a structured way of working
  • Affinity to work in a dynamic, international and interdisciplinary business environment
  • Intercultural competence and team-oriented working attitude
  • You are technically and digitally inclined
