About the role
In this position, you will support the Energy Solutions team for the negotiation of Corporate PPA (corporate engagement and commercial origination)
This position can be based in Bangkok (Thailand) or Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) or Putrajaya (Malaysia)

What You Will Do

  • Securing bankable, long-term power purchase agreement (“PPA”) for on-site and off-site solutions, matching to the energy market policies
  • Manage communication with potential PPA off-takers (corporate customers e.g. members of RE100 & utilities/energy retailers).
  • Maintain healthy relationship with global/regional Key Accounts PIC allowing efficient opportunities identification (matching supply/demand).
  • Tracking submissions, reviewing & negotiating indicative PPA terms and conditions with the PPA off-takers/corporate buyers
  • Perform off-takers credit rating risks assessment
  • Assessment of regulatory framework for PPAs in the respective country and development of applicable PPA structures including assessment of current country-specific market prices and long-term price curve forecasts.
  • Managing and coordinating regional/market specific internal PPA Term Sheets, MoUs and long-form PPA Contracts templates.
  • Evaluating the IFRS 9 and 16 accounting implications of the PPA on the internal EBIT reporting.

What You Bring

  • Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Legal or a related-relevant field.
  • 8+ years of experience working in energy/infrastructure/finance industry and preferably experience in power contract negotiations, energy regulations, or commercial management.
  • Experience in renewable energy project development/management (on-site/off-site), renewable credit programs, and corporate sustainability is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building relationships with external stakeholders, such as clients and partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiar with SharePoint and Salesforce.
