BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH is responsible for activities in the field of renewable energy. We develop, realise, advise on and provide support for projects around the world in the areas of solar, wind and bioenergy. In addition, we offer operations management and plant maintenance as well as wholesale photovoltaic components, energy trading and renewable energy solutions for corporations.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in München and are currently looking for a Organizational Development Manager (m/f/d):

Your tasks

  • Design for a scalable organization that provides the stuctures and environment to deliver global growth incorporating our diverse cultural, regional, and business requirements
  • Diagnose root causes of critical organizational issues related to dependencies, accountabilities, or inefficiencies, and provide objective data-driven measures for improvement, e.g. establishing global roles, job families, new reportings, regional hub involvement, etc.
  • Drive our global organizational effectiveness that fosters the „One BayWa r.e.“ spirit based on transparency, collaboration and organizational orientation
  • Consult and gather insights to improve our organization policies and principles for an agile future-ready organization
  • Provide advisory and consultation for clarity in organization and lead project to drive continuous organizational development with our global stakeholders
  • Foster a learning organization built on innovation, that leverages our purpose and values
  • Create empowering structures and help drive understanding of our organizational identity, e.g. functions, structures, responsibilities, rules, terminology / glossary, global projects overview, etc.
  • Support on change management advisory where necessary for greater organizational acceptance
  • Business ownership for org chart and group alignment tools

Your profile

  • Strong educational qualifications with a focus on Management, Organization Development or Human Resources
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in an international environment
  • Expert knowledge of advanced concepts in Organizational Development and knowledge of relevant organizational policies and procedures relevant to a global matrix company
  • Proven ability to convince and win-over stakeholders and successful org improvement
  • Knowledge of lean organizations and different organization models, incl. RACI and similar
  • Topics like Purpose Driven Organization, employee NPS, OKR, holacracy, sociocracy, teal organizations are not foreign to you
  • Names like Frederic Laloux, Peter Senge, John Doerr, Jim Collins are not foreign to you
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in German and English
