Greece is phasing out coal-powered electricity production and targeting for a very fast energy transition. BayWa r.e. Projects Greece IKE has built a significant portfolio of renewable energy projects in different development stages with a focus on solar and wind energy to support the energy transition in Greece. It is also bringing innovative renewable energy approaches such as hybrids, energy storage, agriPV and floating PV to the market to address some of its key challenges. BayWa r.e. Projects Greece IKE is working closely with different BayWa r.e. renewable energy Group entities to expand its offering in operations management and plant maintenance and to evaluate the market potential for wholesale photovoltaic components and renewable energy solutions for corporations.

About the role
We are looking for an Office Manager (m/f/d) for our subsidiary in Athens. As our Office Manager you will be a key resource to growing our local team and establish all required processes. You will experience the start-up atmosphere of our growing team with the ability to shape our local presence while being part of an international corporation.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are a key resource for our local Managing Director to support the growth and strive towards operational excellence
  • You oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure a smooth operation
  • You develop office policies, procedures and ensure they are implemented appropriately
  • You are fully responsible for office events (internal networking & strategy events/ annual events as well as external such as press conferences) partially with a local partner
  • You facilitate travel organization and booking when necessary
  • You identify opportunities for process and office management improvements
  • You provide HR administrative support as necessary
  • You manage the leased car fleet
  • You manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
  • You perform reception duties: greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls 
  • You receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field
  • At least 2-5 years' work experience in an administrative/ office management role
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Being a self-starter 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in an international and digital environment
