About the role

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding and are currently looking for a Logistics Manager (m/w/d) for utility scale solar projects in Munich, Freiburg, Berlin or Leipzig as soon as possible. The position is hired for our german purchasing team, which has a size of around 12 great colleagues in Germany.
 

What You Will Do

  • Planning and implementation of logistics strategies
  • Monitoring of operational logistics based on project- and purchasing planning
  • Budget estimation and -controlling
  • Development of concepts and tools to optimize logistics and supply chain management, such as minimizing costs and risks associated with complaints
  • Coordination, processing and documentation of all transport processes
  • Collaboration in drafting international supply contracts and independent negotiation of contracts with logistics service providers
  • Interface management between the construction site and the suppliers

What You Bring

  • Completed studies, for example in the field of supply chain management, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in managing international transports
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of transport and construction site logistics
  • Fluent knowledge of English; German is a plus
  • Willingness to make occasional business trips to construction sites or suppliers
  • Systematic and proactive way of working
  • Confident appearance, strong communication skills and routine interaction with suppliers, service providers, customers and other stakeholders
