Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Freiburg, Munich, Leipzig or Berlin and are currently looking for a (Junior) Technical Purchasing Manager Battery & Storage (f/m/d) renewable energy.

What You Will Do

  • Support the responsible Senior Purchasing Manager in planning, executing and monitoring purchasing processes, especially for our project business, with a strong focus on battery and storage technologies
  • Supporting the definition and development of product standards for battery and storage technologies in close cooperation with the relevant engineering and R&D departments
  • Global identification and evaluation of potential suppliers regarding battery technologies
  • Development and maintenance of close supplier relationships
  • Responsibility for the preparation of tendering procedures
  • Analysis of price, market and competition data and development of appropriate concepts and action strategies
  • Continuous review of applicable standards and technological innovation
  • Participation in contract negotiations
  • Development and optimization of our national and international purchasing processes

What You Bring

  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, business engineering or technical training with a strong understanding of business or another comparable qualification
  • You have up to 3 years of professional experience in the field of battery and energy storage solutions
  • Ideally you had first touching-points to Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management
  • You have a hands-on and solution-oriented approach of work
  • You are highly proficient in handling MS Office
  • You are business fluent in English; other language skills are a plus
  • You have a distinct stakeholder-approach, coupled with a high sensitivity for different mentalities and practices in an international business environment
  • You are willing to travel up to 20%
