Data Services GmbH is rapidly expanding its offerings in the fields of data acquisition, SCADA services, data utilization and 24/7 monitoring as a foundation for safe operations and optimized asset performance as well as for providing employees and customers with the best data base for adopting digital solutions.
About the role
Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team and currently looking for a Junior Deputy Information Security Officer (m/f/d). The position is preferably filled in our office in Munich.
If you are interested to help us meet compliance with requirements of ISO 27001 and Critical Infrastructure regulations, then this is the position for you. You will be working with our IT risk management tool fully integrated into Microsoft Office 365 to document our control environment.
As part of your role, you will be enhancing our existing ISMS, scheduling internal as well as external audits and you will be the local responsible for information security for two legal entities within BayWa r.e. with direct contact to the management board.
Note: This position offers flexible work arrangements and can be fulfilled either on a part-time or full-time basis, providing the opportunity to tailor the role to your schedule and preferences.

What You Will Do
- You will improve the Information Security Management System of BayWa r.e. Operation Services GmbH and BayWa r.e. Data Services GmbH
- You will create, review, and update documents, including policies, procedures, guidelines, and records required by the ISO 27001 standard and to comply with regulations
- You will maintain and enhance IT Risk Management
- You will collaborate with IT and other internal teams to ensure implementation of appropriate security controls to address identified risks
- You will collaborate with Data Protection and Cyber Defense
- You will support Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Emergency Manuals
- You will document and maintain the Information Asset inventory and classify the information and the suppliers associated with it
- You will evaluate Technical and Organizational Measures of IT suppliers
- You will provide security guidance and training for employees
- You will provide reports and schedule internal and external audits
Your Profile
Must have:
- Relevant university degree (Information Technology, Computer Science) or a comparable qualification
- 2+ years’ experience in Information Security Management
- Comprehensive knowledge about ISO 27001
- German (C1) and English (C1) - strong English and German written and verbal communication skills
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification
- Knowledge about BSI IT-Grundschutz, IT Security Act, ISO standard - ISO27019
- Knowledge of IT Risk management, GDPR
- Experience in working with MS Office 365 and SharePoint
