As part of our team, do you want to play an active role in the creation and design of new, digital processes in the field of human resources? Have you always wanted to know what it is like behind the scenes of an HR system, how ideas and processes find their way into a system and eventually into the digital world? As an Intern for Digital Transformation in Human Resources (m/f/d) you will learn how a global HR management and recruiting system is managed and configured to create an optimal experience for users and how to continuously improve it.
 
The Global HR-Systems team is located in the central Human Resources department and takes care of the technical infrastructure to drive digitization in the HR sector throughout the BayWa r.e. group. Due to our dynamic growth, we are looking for you to join our Global HR-Systems team as an Intern for Digital Transformation in Human Resources (m/f/d) in Munich from January 2021.

BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH is responsible for activities in the field of renewable energy. We develop, realise, advise on and provide support for projects around the world in the areas of solar, wind and bioenergy. In addition, we offer operations management and plant maintenance as well as wholesale photovoltaic components, energy trading and renewable energy solutions for corporations.

Responsibilities we'll trust you with

  • As an active member of our team, you are in constant exchange with our Global HR community as well as with our employees and managers in order to support them in their requests
  • You will get to know the different companies with their different business areas and gain insights into the global cooperation of a multinational group
  • In addition, you act as an enabler of the digital world and ensure everyone is on track through training materials such as videos and guidelines
  • You support your team with system configurations and soon you will take care of some system settings independently
  • At the same time, you are also responsible for communicating changes and innovations to the various target groups, using our channels accordingly (SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.)
  • Further, you support your colleagues with analysis and reports on important HR and recruiting KPIs
  • You are involved in the selection and implementation of new system modules or new software solutions, including their implementation (e.g. digital annual employee appraisals and skill management, e-learning platform)

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • You are currently enrolled at a university/college of applied sciences. Ideally, you are attending a course of study in the field of economics or business informatics
  • You have already gained some experience in the working world through internships or similar and now want to prove your initiative and digital affinity
  • You handle sensitive data with care 
  • You are a communication talent and enjoy working together in an international context
  • MS Office and you are good friends and you like to take responsibility for your own tasks
  • You speak German at a very good level and are also fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Ideally, you have already had some experience in the HR sector or with systems in the HR context, Power BI is an advantage
  • You have time for a 4 to 6 month full time internship
