BayWa r.e. España S.L.U. offers technical and commercial management services of wind and solar farms and develops turnkey self-consumption systems for commercial and industrial customers. BayWa r.e. España is one of the most important service providers in the country, servicing several renewable energy plants in the Iberian Peninsula and the Spanish Islands.

What You Will Do

  • You take overall responsibility for the strategic development and operational sales activities for our local team
  • You lead, guide, motivate, and develop our team of Key Account Managers and Technical Sales (3 direct reports in total)
  • You keep an eye on the regulatory development of our Iberian market in order to serve our multinational Commercial and Industrial Key Accounts in the best possible way
  • You own business targets and interact closely with senior management 
  • You drive new business opportunities and take care of existing business across regional country markets
  • You are closely networked with other internal departments (Sales Coordination, Purchasing, Marketing, Systems Design, Project Management, etc.), but also with other BayWa r.e. business units to achieve the best results for customers and our company 
  • You transport and translate Sales and Business strategy into your team
  • You interact closely with our senior management to regularly monitor and review existing and appropriate customer segmentation to realize opportunities in our Iberian market
  • You intensively collaborate with our central Product and Solutions Development team to push strategic development of new solutions to the next level
  • You lead sales reporting and provide continuous transparency to management on the progress of sales and business development activities
  • You strive for a proper development and growth of our sales organization
  • You drive continuous improvement process (CRM, ERP system in place) to optimize our commercial offer 
  • You oversee, develop, and implement necessary sales KPIs, embedded in the overall KPI frame of the organization

What You Bring

  • You own a master’s degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energies or comparable
  • You have profound experience in selling solar energy and battery solutions. Ideally you have additional knowledge in EV charging infrastructure concepts, hybrid systems and assembly energy systems
  • You worked in the past with multinational clients in an intercultural environment
  • Strong market knowledge in the European and Spanish energy market (focus on PV) as a prerequisite for a strategic Sales orientation
  • Successful sales professional with at least 5 years’ experience as sales and/or business leader driving activity and engagement at all stages of the sales process
  • Proven track record of innovative and sustainable sales growth within renewable energy
  • High degree of motivation and passion for renewable energies
  • Proficiency in Office package and the CRM-System Salesforce
