Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Edinburgh and are currently looking for a Head of Project Management:

Your Responsibilities

  • Reporting the to Managing Director you will be responsible for successful  commercial and technical delivery of our overall Wind and Solar projects portfolio
  • Leading and developing our project managers who are responsible for individual project delivery
  • Managing and providing guidance to the construction team in the overall project delivery
  • Planning and allocating resource to ensure the project team can deliver against agreed targets
  • Reviewing and implementing processes for project delivery, risk management, and commercial cost control
  • Ensuring that projects are contracted, implemented and delivered safely, on time & to budget
  • Providing support and oversight to Irish project delivery planning
  • Supporting route to market activities for projects either through CFD bids or Corporate PPA tenders
  • Supporting both wind and solar development and acquisition activities

Your profile

  • You are technically and digitally inclined
  • An engineering and commercial background
  • Strong leadership skills with proven track record of leading project and construction teams to successful results
  • Commercially aware with good experience of managing challenging negotiations and disputes
  • Organised and pragmatic with an ability to find solutions to challenging problems
  • Active listener that shows you understand and value others’ viewpoints
  • 10 years experience in the industry with at least 3 in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written (presentations, reports, documents) and spoken;
  • Excellent commercial insight for assessing key value drivers of projects;
  • Building strong, cooperative and productive relationships with the key teams involved in realising projects.
  • You must have a right to work in the UK
