Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team and are currently looking for a Head of Global Logistics (m/f/d). This position can be based in one of our offices in Tübingen or Munich. Remote working options are also possible.

What You Will Do

  • Your key responsibility is to support our entities to make their supply chain more efficient
  • The digitalization of supply chain processes will be driven by you
  • You evaluate our warehousing strategy
  • One of your tasks is to perform benchmarking of the supply chain, e.g. by doing cost analyses of warehouses and shipping
  • You audit our warehouses and support the necessary expansion
  • You will define, implement, and constantly develop our quality standards
  • You prepare, evaluate, and negotiate central tenders
  • You organize and conduct global supply chain summits
  • You collaborate with our Head of Global Purchasing and work closely with our local and regional supply chain specialists

What You Bring

  • You preferably hold a university degree in Business Administration or Economics with focus on Supply Chain Management
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics, preferably in solar or distribution
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English. German would be a plus
  • You are experienced in working in an international and complex organization
  • You are comfortable and confident in leading negotiations
  • You are technically and digitally inclined
