About the role

As Head of Global HR Systems (m/f/d), you will be part of our Corporate HR Team and report to the Director of Corporate HR of BayWa r.e. Group. The position is located at our Headquarters in Munich but with lots of flexibility to work from home. Due to our dynamic growth and the rising demand for digitalization in Human Resources we are looking for you to join our Global HR Systems Team.

What You Will Do

  • Disciplinary management of the Global HR Systems Team of 3 with a focus on leadership and development
  • Development and deployment of a digitalization strategy within HR aligned with our people strategy
  • Tool selection and global implementation of a new HR System for the whole BayWa r.e. Group (6 business entities with 70+ companies), incl. conception of the new data model and process flows
  • Driving the continuous improvement and enhancement of the HR Systems landscape to meet the constantly changing requirements of our global HR community, as well as our business
  • Development and implementation of consistent HR processes across BayWa r.e that foster global organizational efficiencies and at the same time consider regional and local HR requirements
  • Support and coordination of the creation of IT demands, considering their cost-effectiveness
  • Responsibility for ensuring operational stability, mitigating system risks and security and compliance control
  • Ensuring data quality for reporting and distribution purposes, as well as compliance with data protection regulations
  • Close collaboration based on trust with our global HR community, executives and employees, IT, 3rd party suppliers and further stakeholders

What You Bring

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of business informatics or business administration, ideally with focus on HR or IT, or comparable qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience in the field of HRMS, from selection to implementation and continuous development (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) within a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment
  • At least 2 years of management experience and sound knowledge of project management to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders 
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and their digitalization, HR master data management, organization management and strong IT affinity
  • Knowledge and experience in the areas of IT Security and Data Protection  
  • Experience in process development, reengineering and automation is beneficial
  • Solution-oriented and analytical way of working with a collaborative and hands-on mentality, as well as a high degree of diligence
  • Distinct customer and service orientation as well as high consulting competence
  • Strong communication skills on all levels to interact effectively with all stakeholders
  • Business fluent in spoken and written German and English
