BayWa r.e. Projects España S.L.U. – a wholly-owned subsidiary of BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH – is responsible for the development, structuring and execution of utility-scale wind and solar energy projects in Spain & Portugal.

We are currently a company of roughly 30 employees with a dynamic growth. Therefore we are expanding our team in Madrid and are looking for a generalistic Senior HR Manager (m/f/d) who has the power and the hunger, to support us transforming the company from a start-up to a scale-up company.

Your tasks

  • Deployment and local implementation of the company HR strategic initiatives.
  • Consulting and support for employees and managers in all personnel-related matters throughout the entire employee life cycle inkl. maintainance of the HR system (Rexx)
  • Preparation of employment contracts and amendments, expatriate assignments, statistics, certificates and other relevant personnel documentation
  • Correspondence with authorities and social security institutions including preparation of certificates and payroll
  • Preperation and implementation of compensation and benefits initatives
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process: preparation of job descriptions, posting of job advertisements, active sourcing, applicant’s selection, conducting job interviews
  • Preparation and support of performance management reviews incl. succession planning, 360° degree feedback, talent calibration, etc.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Preparation of analyses, reports, HR policies and guidelines
  • Participation in cross-company projects

Your profile

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree with focus on HR or equivalent in a relevant field of study
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in operational HR management, preferably in a medium-sized company with a matrix organization
  • Profound knowledge of labor and social security law
  • Experience in recruiting technical positions (engineers, project developer, etc.), knowledge of the renewable energy sector is a benefit
  • Strong affinity for social media and networks (LinkedIn, Xing, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), ideally first experience with the REXX tool
  • Proven background in the implementation of various personnel development methodologies (succession planing, 360° feedback, talent calibration, etc.)
  • Independent, reliable and structured way of working
  • High technical and digital affinity
  • Intercultural capabilities and effective communication skills in English is mandatory
