BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited offers comprehensive operations and maintenance services to solar energy plants and wind plants across the UK and Ireland. We utilise our international experience as well as the expert knowledge of our local teams to deliver centralised, state-of-the-art data management and monitoring. About the role
HR are a valued business partner to our organisation, and due to a member of the team taking maternity leave we are looking for  a HR Advisor / Specialist to join us on a fixed term contract for up to 7 months. 
 

What You Will Do

  • You will report to the UK Head of HR, assisting with the delivery of BayWa r.e.’s people strategy by business partnering our Asset Operations client group
  • You will support the management of the recruitment processes and the onboarding of new starters for Asset Operations
  • You will act as first point of contract, assisting with the management of HR queries for our Asset Operations employees in the UK across different locations (Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Glasgow & field based)
  • You will support the development of polices ensuring legal compliance and best practice
  • You will support with updating HR documents in accordance with IMS standards such as job descriptions, employment contracts, onboarding and leaver protocols and others HR processes, continuously optimize HR processes and digitalisation
  • You will support the upskilling and coaching of line managers and employees by undertaking HR specific training
  • You will be responsible for the creation of HR analytics and reports
  • You will manage and support our HR systems for your client group
  • You will actively participate in HR projects - currently the business is implementing a new HR system (Workday)

What You Bring

  •  At least 3 years’ experience in human resources
  • Experience of managing / supporting employee relations processes
  • Experience in talent acquisition
  • CIPD Level 5 desirable
  • Good knowledge of UK employment laws and application
  • High degree of self-motivation and independent work style
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage a range of priorities
  • Collaborative working style, persuasive and clear communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and HR management tools - it would benefit the organisation if the successful candidate had experience of using Workday but this is not essential
  • Flexible skillset and enthusiasm for a varied role
  • Calm under pressure and strong attention to detail
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Some UK travel
