Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in our HQ in Munich and are currently looking for a Group Controller (m/f/d):

Your tasks

  • You will act as the interface between the managed investments in Germany and abroad and BayWa r.e. Holding as well as BayWa AG in all commercial matters.
  • In this function, you check the plausibility of the financial figures of the shareholdings, make target/actual comparisons on the basis of the planned, forecast and previous year's figures and develop recommendations for action.
  • You will report regularly to the management of BayWa r.e. Holding and to BayWa AG.
  • You will further design and develop the reporting system and support the introduction of new software solutions as well as the further development of existing ones.
  • You will be involved in special business analyses and special projects
     

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a University degree in business administration and have several years (at least 5 years) of qualified professional experience in investment controlling in a corporate group or in a consulting firm.
  • You are proficient in analyzing financial data (balance sheet/income statement, individual/consolidated financial statements) and in dealing with cost accounting as well as investment and profitability calculations
  • You understand how to prepare your results of high quality for management decision-making in a structured and appropriate manner.
  • You combine strong communication skills, accurate working methods and IT system affinity (preferably SAP-FC and S/4Hana)
  • You have business fluent English skills and intercultural competence
  • You will be involved in special business analyses and special projects
