To strengthen our team in Munich, we are currently looking for a Group Controller (m/f/d) – Wind & Solar Projects Americas.

What You Will Do

  • As part of BayWa r.e. AG's Group Controlling, you will be responsible for the investment controlling of the wind and solar projecting business in Americas and cooperate closely with the CFO and the finance department in the Americas region
  • You act as an interface in all commercial matters between the regional management and BayWa r.e. AG and are the contact person for Group Controlling and management in all business matters in Americas, including liquidity planning
  • You are responsible for the coordination and harmonization of all financial activities (e.g. planning, forecasting, reporting, etc.) and for ensuring the quality of financial information
  • You support the regional management in improving the planning, forecasting and actual reporting processes as well as in setting up valuation models and assessing investments
  • You independently analyze company data for the region, derive recommendations for action and present these to management
  • You monitor performance based on KPIs and track measures (e.g. to increase earnings), key balance sheet figures (e.g. receivables, Ctc) and liquidity
  • You ensure effective risk management in the Americas region

What You Bring

  • Successfully completed business studies and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international environment
  • Experience in asset management of investments in the renewable energy sector, in investment or operational controlling of a group, a company with a matrix or regional organizations or in an auditing or consulting firm desirable
  • Ability to prepare and present results of high quality to management for decision-making in a structured and appropriate manner
  • Confident handling of cost accounting as well as investment and profitability calculations
  • Strong communication skills, accurate working methods and IT system affinity (preferably CCH Tagetik, SAP-FC or databases)
  • Strong intercultural skills as well as experience in collaborating with remote teams
  • Profound German and excellent English skills
