About the role
Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Tübingen or Munich and are currently looking for a Group Controller (m/f/d) - Solar Trade for our Business Entity Solar Trade.

About the role
Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Tübingen or Munich and are currently looking for a Group Controller (m/f/d) - Solar Trade for our Business Entity Solar Trade.
What You Will Do
- You will be in charge of the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and relevant guidelines
- You will oversee the consolidation process for subsidiary financial data, including the elimination of intercompany transactions
- You will plan the ownership transition of the Solar Trade business including the evaluation and implementation of consolidation software, if required
- You will manage the relationship with auditors, ensuring timely and successful completion of audits
- You will ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- You will establish and maintain effective internal control frameworks, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded, safeguarded and reported
- You will monitor compliance with policies and procedures
- You will communicate financial results, trends, and insights effectively to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and the Board of Directors
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or comparable qualification - professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) is a plus
- At least 7 years of experience in finance, accounting and / or controlling
- Good understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting and consolidation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English across multiple levels or functions within the organization
- Experienced in working in an international and complex organization
- Flexible mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Technical and digital affinity as well as experience with financial ERP/Consolidation systems/applications
