About the role
Due to our dynamic growth, we are currently looking for a Financial Modeler (m/f/d) to join our global Portfolio & Investments Team for renewable energy projects. This key role will be responsible to develop, improve and maintain our core financial model which is used by all our global subsidiaries. Furthermore, this position supports the valuation of renewable energy projects in Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.
This position is preferably located at our headquarters in Munich. Working remotely within Germany is also an option.

Furthermore, this position supports the valuation of renewable energy projects in Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.

What You Will Do
- You will develop, maintain and improve best practice financial models and analysis tools for the development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects.
- You will work with subsidiaries globally to understand their needs in terms of valuation tools and use-cases and you will develop state of the art solutions.
- You will lead or support the valuation of renewable energy projects in Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas (depending on your experience and workload).
- You will be responsible together with other analysts across the business for enhancing best practice methods, valuation processes, knowledge management and internal tools.
- You will be in charge of the quality control of the valuation assumptions and modelling methodology across the project business to ensure that they are robust and in-line with our internal standards.
Your Profile
- You have a relevant university degree in a numerical discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or similar.
- You have experience with financial models and valuation of renewable energy projects.
- You have very strong MS Excel skills.
- You ideally have good skills in Python to connect databases to the current models and to be prepared for future valuation tools.
- You are a self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with a getting-things-done mindset and a willingness to provide support to all your colleagues.
- You are proactive and have a strong drive to improve tools and innovate procedures.
- You have a very structured way of working and strong analytical skills.
- You are fluent in English; fluency in German and other languages would be a plus.
