BayWa r.e. Projects España S.L.U. – a wholly-owned subsidiary of BayWa r.e. AG – is responsible for the development, structuring and execution of utility-scale wind and solar energy projects in Spain & Portugal. Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Spain and are currently looking for a EPC Construction Manager (m/f/d) for the PV market.
About the role
Management and construction of our Solar Parks (Ground mounted, Tracker, Floating, Agri-PV) in the EMEA region, from the technical evaluation to the final commissioning and handover.

About the role
Management and construction of our Solar Parks (Ground mounted, Tracker, Floating, Agri-PV) in the EMEA region, from the technical evaluation to the final commissioning and handover.
What You Will Do
-You are responsible for the professional implementation of large-scale PV systems following quality, time and budget guidelines.
-You will be on-site during construction.
-You will perform quality checks of work and services.
-You are the technical project manager and interface between the Engineering Team and Construction partners.
-You are the first point of contact on site for subcontractors and third parties.
-You will make sure that all material deliveries and construction follow the relevant schedule.
-You will make sure that all construction is in compliance with local, national and international regulations.
-You will compose weekly progress reports, including inventory and quality checklists.
-You have to coordinate letters of acceptance between subcontractors and investors.
-You will be in charge of the process all the way to commissioning, with the finality of handover to our Operation & Services area.
-You will be on-site during construction.

What You Bring
-You have academic qualifications in Electromechanics or have similar areas.
-You have relevant work experience in the management of international construction sites, ideally in photovoltaic sites.
-You are fluent in English; other languages such as German or Spanish are a bonus.
-You are digitally inclined, e.g. well versed in MS Office Package.
-You have great communication skills: you are an assertive and convincing natural leader.
-Your great willingness to travel around EMEA completes your profile #remote
-You are willing to support the team and work together towards a common goal.
-You are proactive and have a structured way of working.
-You have relevant work experience in the management of international construction sites, ideally in photovoltaic sites.
-You are fluent in English; other languages such as German or Spanish are a bonus.
