Head of Corporate Insurance (d/m/f)

We are looking for a Head of Corporate Insurance (d/m/f) at the next possible date. This position takes a global and strategic lead role for the Corporate Insurance in EMEA, APAC and the AMERICAS. The position will be based in Munich, Germany, headquarter and reporting to the BayWa r.e. group’s CFO.

What You Will Do

You coordinate, standardize, harmonize and optimize BayWa r.e. group’s worldwide insurance coverage (industry insurances, e.g., EAR, CAR, professional indemnity)
Your will further develop a global industry insurance strategy for BayWa r.e. group together with our internal legal team and the BayWa AG insurance department, as well as the designated broker
You coordinate a team of insurance managers across the regions
You are the key contact for global insurance brokers and other stakeholders
You provide central structures for documenting and archiving insurance coverage, cost and terms
You collect and own insurance financials and ensure timely insurance risk assessment and reporting on a global level
You ensure market-standard premiums and their proper allocation within BayWa r.e. group

What You Bring

A Degree in insurance business, insurance science or training and further education in the insurance sector
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Experience with insurance processes gained in a corporate organization is preferred
Leadership experience is a plus
Experience in controlling and risk reporting
Business fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
Affinity in the usage of digital tools
