Solar Projects GmbH provides an extensive range of services, from greenfield development and turnkey construction to financing options and the operation of ground-mounted or floating solar parks and hybrid plants. Thanks to our global expertise, our local teams can cater to our customers’ needs and requirements.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our Engineering team in Freiburg, Munich, Madrid or in one of our many other European locations and are currently looking for a Digitalization Engineer (d|f|m) Solar Projects.

What You Will Do

Responsibility for the digitalization and automatization of the engineering processes
Analysis of existing processes and creation of digitalization and automatization concepts
Developing and maintaining software tools and interfaces (Excel. Python, etc.) to optimize the engineering work and processes
Developing and managing trainings in regards to our digitalization and automatization efforts
Working in close contact with the R&D, construction, IT and engineering team
Operation and maintenance of the Engineering info sites via MS Sharepoint
Acting as the main interface from the Engineering team for our Project management software Workfront

What You Bring

Degree in Business Informatics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or in a comparable field
Proven track record in digitalization projects
Advanced skills in tools like Excel, SharePoint, SQL, Power BI and Python
Fluent in business English, German is a plus
Distinct stakeholder-approach, coupled with a high sensitivity for different mentalities and practices in an international business environment
High motivation to change the renewable energy market by supporting the design and construction of innovative PV systems
