Digital Transformation Manager

In the APAC region, we are already more than 230 employees located in our 9 country offices throughout the APAC region (Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, and Australia). Our business activities include trading, project development, operations & maintenance and tailor-made energy solutions.

About the role
You will lead the digital transformation in the APAC region to drive operational excellence and productivity management across business units.
This position will be based in our regional hub in Bangkok and reports to the APAC regional directors

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the management for the planning and implementation of the digital roadmap in the APAC region
  • Identify the needs of the different business units and department, propose new innovative solutions and take charge of the integration into the existing digital landscape
  • Optimize existing digital platforms, i.e. process automation of back office processes and productivity tools for employees
  • Manage digital projects initially, and potentially grow the team of project managers as the roadmap rolls out
  • Build bridges between people and technology to develop a digital culture and maximize the use of efficient tools and systems
  • Coordinate with other DTMs across other businesses and relevant corporate functions to ensure harmonization and optimization of systems across the enterprise architecture
  • Drive tool-/ system standardization initiatives to support the path of processes digitalization and enable a lean and harmonized business tools suite
  • Interact with relevant group functions outside the own business entity and align with group wide strategic improvement and digitalization initiatives
  • Provide transparency through transformation office setup; monitor priorities, timelines, milestones, and progress
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration across the units to accelerate improvements and benefits
  • Be a digital transformation mentor and ambassador

What You Bring

• Bachelor, Master or equivalent degree in IT, engineering, Business Management or similar
• Minimum 5 year+ experiences in operational and strategic digital business transformation / transition in a corporate environment.
• Track record in managing complex international digital projects and programs in an agile and growing business environment in a volatile market and VUCA environment
• Solid Knowledge in information technology Infrastructure, software product management and cloud principles
• Knowledge of MS Office 365 and Salesforce preferred
• Experience in building and managing a scalable digital portfolio and roadmaps
• Experience in standard project methods (e.g., PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2) and agile methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban and SAFe)
• Experience in leadership and mentoring
• Experience in digital tools harmonization and implementation
• Ideally experience in building a digital strategy which empower the business goals
• Ability to utilize data analysis into actions and improvements to get real impact
• Excellent written and oral English proficiency
