Due to our dynamic growth, we are establishing a purchasing entity for our EMEA region to optimize our purchasing and inventory management into the region.

About the role

Due to our dynamic growth, we are looking for a Demand Planner (m/w/d) - Solar Trade, ideally from Venlo otherwise also remotely within the Netherlands

What You Will Do

  • You will lead and perform the demand planning and inventory management function for the newly created EMEA Purchasing Entity
  • You will collaborate with internal parties to ensure that the appropriate data is available and accurate and is reviewed at the S&OP meetings and establish a useful and accurate demand plan
  • You will model the data to forecast future demand, and provide input to the supply planning organization on supply requirements
  • You will monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, supply situation, please-in/phase-out events and business strategies that could impact demand
  • You will propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
  • You will support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
  • You will apply analytics and supply chain expertise to manage system parameters and meet target inventory and service level goals while minimizing costs and obsolescence

Your Profile

  • University degree in business administration, economics or supply chain management
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar analytical or demand planning position
  • Strong analytical skills, capability to work with large and complex data structures and ability to develop and use KPI’s for data-driven decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally 
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a self-starter attitude
  • Experience in working in an international and complex organization
  • Experience within a distribution company or PV industry would be a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Power BI and Supply Chain Planning tools would be beneficial
