Due to our growth, we are expanding our team in Edinburgh and are currently looking for a Data Analyst:

Your Responsibilities

  • Being part of performance analytics department with the aim to support operations both for Solar and Wind projects
  • Advice on the development of strategies and workflows for the performance analytics department
  • Support in the development of operational KPI’s for Solar and Wind
  • Have a leading role in the development of tools to analyse the performance of operational wind projects and solar farms based on available real time and historical data
  • Develop analytics pipelines for increasing efficiency and automating processes
  • Optimize, review and discuss code and algorithm efficiencies
  • Validate models and compare methodologies
  • Develop a knowledge base to enable the technical asset management team to proactively investigate performance issues

Your profile

  • MSc/ PhD in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Computer Science or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Renewables Solar/PV industry
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Experience in statistical analysis for Solar projects
  • Experience with time series analysis
  • Experience with UNIX/ Linux ecosystem
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage a range of priorities
  • Collaborative working style, persuasive and clear communication skills
  • Flexible skillset and enthusiasm for a varied role
  • Calm under pressure and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Possesses the right to work in the United Kingdom
