We have an established team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals growing our business activities by developing, constructing, and operating our renewable generation portfolio throughout the region. 
The control center Technician is responsible for the operational control and the remote monitoring of wind and solar power plants worldwide. The position will be based in Bangkok, Thailand and is open to hybrid and remote work (1 day per week in the office may be required).

The control center technician will be part of the control center team and will work in shift (morning and evening shift with occasional night and weekend shift).

What You Will Do

  • Be responsible for the remote monitoring and control of the operating state of wind and solar plants by means of our operations management software
  • Answer national and international service calls, record the issues involved, monitor the compliance with occupational safety and health requirements, and find appropriate solutions based on our work processes
  • Ensure optimal operational conditions of wind and solar plants, analyze malfunctions and carry out error statistics
  • Document the plant life history in detail and maintain our logbook
  • Work closely with the German Control Center team and international colleagues to assure a high level of operational performance under highest safety standards of the BayWa r.e. Control Center
  • Implement and ensure of quality standards, work procedures and improvement processes

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in engineering, natural sciences, or renewable energies
  • Experience in customer support in comparable field of activity is preferred
  • Fluent in spoken English is obligatory, German/ Spanish or French skill are an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with phone conversation
  • Able to solve problems systematically and have an analytical and structured way of working
