In the APAC region, we are already around 200 employees located in our 9 country offices throughout the APAC region (Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, and Australia). We have an established team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals growing our business activities by developing, constructing, and operating our renewable generation portfolio throughout the region. 
This position will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

What You Will Do

  • Manage the construction process with sub-contractors and in house project team
  • Organize and control construction process
  • Understand defined needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Devise and review specifications for construction and products
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
  • Oversee construction development procedures and deliverables to identify deviations from quality standards and subcontractor proposals
  • Coordinate with related parties such as the sub-contractors, Vendors, especially authorities in site activities
  • Inspect final installation and compare properties to requirements
  • Inspect all deliveries to make sure that products fulfil the requirements and conditions are as per descriptions, design. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
  • Review third-party inspection reports and ensure items are per the executed contract and design specifications
  • Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
  • Evaluate sub-contractors

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Electrical Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience preferably on construction sites, here Infrastructure/Energy projects
  • Understand standards/technical requirements in Solar Power Projects or similar Industrial projects
  • Familiar with law & regulation in construction projects would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Auto CAD, MS Office
  • Experienced with analyzing site specific project strategy & development.
  • Be able to communicate clearly in English and Vietnamese. Additional language skills like Chinese are beneficial
