Legal Manager - International Business (f/m/d)

What You Will Do

  • You will be the central contact person for internal and external stakeholders with regards to compliance in the field of renewable energy business
  • Specifically, you will ensure compliance with national regulations in all respects for cross-border EPC-business throughout Europe.
    This includes pooling, steering and implementation duties with a special focus on
    tax compliance and legal compliance
  • As a tax professional you will identify foreign corporate and personal tax liability, administrate local registrations, ensure tax compliance along our supply chain
    and process VAT-related requests in cooperation with local advisors
  • You are motivated to coordinate law adjustments of contracts with external advisors
    and assess local legal frameworks (e.g., referring to regulatory system)
  • You have experience in working with HR and together you will take care of
    posting workers, compliant travel management and internal employee leasing
  • You will ensure national health and safety compliance incl. registration duties
  • You are responsible for environmental compliance, such as WEEE
    (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment) incl. registration duties
    and processing of requests
  • You will perform country entry risk checks according to the BayWa r.e. group guideline and ensure adequate insurance coverage
  • You will contribute to the set-up of new legal entities abroad
  • You will assess reporting requirements (e.g., Intrastat),
    contribute to appropriate data workflows and ensure a timely submission
  • You will implement local accounting rules across invoicing channels
    (e.g., assessment of mandatory information) and monitor foreign currency cash-flows

What You Bring

  • An academic background and profound knowledge in the field of laws and taxation is required. A master´s degree is preferred, e.g., master of laws in taxation
  • Experience in working in an international environment / for a multinational company for a minimum of 3 years is mandatory
  • Additionally, you have gained experience in cross-border business
  • You have a hands-on mentality, would like to take responsibility,
    and prefers working in a team
  • You show strong analytical and communication skills
  • You are fluent in speaking and writing both German and English
