About the role
We are currently seeking a Civils Foreman to be responsible for a three person team in Scotland, travel throughout the UK may be required.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for a three-person team
  • On site client liaison
  • Safe execution of the team’s assigned tasks
  • Preparation of the risk assessments & method statements prior to start of any work
  • Giving toolbox talks
  • Time sheet & holiday submissions
  • Plant, transport checks
  • Ensuring that all the team’s assigned equipment is in good order, properly serviced & calibrated.
  • Assessing transport requirements for any work they are assigned.
  • Completion of any required reports.
  • Liaising with the contracts manager about all of the above.
  • Supporting the contracts manager as required.
  • Providing daily updates to the contract manager on the progress and their programme for the next day.
  • This role will include work in unsociable hours & extreme weather conditions (snow clearing, fault repairs).

What You Bring

  • Hold a broad spectrum of suitable qualifications for Civils / Construction, including SMSTS.  
  • Must hold full UK Driving Licence, preferably with towing.
