Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Bangkok and are currently looking for a Business Development Manager SEA:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, negotiate and execute Commercial offers for RE with Corporates and Multinational companies.

Coordinate and manage the our customers expectation and experience
-
Support the local C&I commercial teams for participation in any tender processes for BayWa r.e. Energy Solutions, for EPC investments and PPA.

Engage and advise on RfP’s from corporate offtakers for energy solutions solar projects and match towards rooftop installations and off-site programs solutions for the markets within South East Asia.

Lead the commercial strategy and work closely with the local in-country Energy Solutions commercial teams in supporting the customer origination and business proposals (off-site, on-site, PPA)

Conduct market mapping and scanning activities to generate new business development opportunities with new and existing clients.

Establish partnerships with developers, EPC companies, chambers and associations or any other company that could accelerate sourcing pipeline of C&I EPC & PPA projects

Obtain internal approvals for project execution & investment timely and per approved guidelines.

Develop best practices and tools for commercial financial modelling, evaluating projects and legality of the contract framework in the focused countries within South East Asia.

Work closely with the various functions for business alignment and strategy.
YOUR SKILLS
-
Proven Experience in executing commercial contracts or PPA’s with Corporates including negotiations, structuring and modelling of renewable energy business cases and analysis of PPA term sheets and contracts

Comprehensive understanding of the C&I PV rooftop markets in SEA, the business model, and local Government policies for renewable energies
-
Ability to quickly build up relevant know-how on electricity energy markets in SEA & understand the various models available in other countries for solutions

Strong negotiating skills focused on Energy contracts
-
Intercultural competence and team-oriented working attitude with at least 5 years experience in a regional commercial role.

Strong network, communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment towards continuous learning and delivering on-time performance individually and for the team.

Past experience managing PPA commercial clauses, terms, schedules and contract obligations is a must
-
Has held a Regional Commercial Position for a minimum of 5 years managing commercial and building a renewable energy portfolio with corporate customers, together with his/her team in not less than 2 countries/markets.

Has experience in commercial developments in energy markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines

MBA with a Degree in Engineering, Law, Business or marketing

A minimum of 15 years working experience

Keen interest in sustainability and promoting renewable energy development

Strong command of the English language for daily engagement and being Multilingual is an added advantage.
