Benelux S.R.L. focuses on wind energy project development as well as wind project acquisition and construction in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. About the role

As a Business Developer (m/f/d) for Belgium and Luxemburg, your time will be spent between the management of existing cooperations and projects with local partners and the origination of new leads for BayWa r.e. Benelux. Projects and leads range from rooftop PV plants for industrial customers to wind farms, ground mounted PV plants or hybrid projects.

What You Will Do

  • You will identify opportunities for renewable energy projects and cooperations with local developers and partners
  • You will manage relationships and contractual obligations with co-development partners
  • You will manage relationships with external stakeholders (e.g. local residents, municipalities, grid and transmission operators, regional control bodies, landowners)
  • You will integrate projects with the requirements of local businesses, local residents and all other stakeholders.
  • You will manage the development and permitting process of your projects to ensure that the "ready to build" status is achieved
  • You will coordinate internal teams (e.g. legal and technical departments, solar and wind, hydrogen production and battery technologies) in transactions and early stages of development
  • You will ensure that projects are completed successfully and meet the required time, budget, and quality requirements
  • You will deliver 'ready-to-build' projects to BayWa r.e.’s EPC teams

Your Profile

  • Relevant technical, financial or legal study (master or equivalent)
  • Experience in project development or stakeholder management
  • Drive to innovate within your project
  • Skills with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS Project)
  • Excellent team coordination skills and a technical and digital mindset
  • Exceptional to-the-point communication skills
  • Full command of the French and English language. Dutch and German are a plus.
