About the role

The open position as Analyst/ Financial Modeler (m/f/d) is within our global Analytics & Business Intelligence Team for wind projects. This key role is responsible for developing, improving and maintaining our core financial model, used by all global subsidiaries. Furthermore, this position supports the valuation of wind-, storage-, and hydrogen projects in Europe, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
This position is located in our company’s head office in Munich with remote working options within Germany.

What You Will Do

  • You will develop and use best practice financial models and analysis tools to evaluate projects and business development activities around the globe in terms of cost and value
  • You will work with subsidiaries globally to understand their needs in terms of valuation tools and develop state of the art solutions
  • Depending on experience and workload, you will lead or support the valuation of wind-, storage-, and hydrogen projects in Europe, Africa, and Asia-Pacific
  • Together with other analysts across the business, you will contribute to enhancing best practices for project valuations, bring teaching and knowledge management of valuations forward
  • You will be in charge of quality control of valuation assumptions and the modelling methodology across the wind project business to ensure that they are robust and in-line with internal standards

Your Profile

  • You have an excellent degree in a numerical subject such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or similar
  • You have experience with financial models and valuation of renewable energy projects
  • You have very strong MS Excel skills
  • Good skills in Python to connect databases to the current model and to be prepared for future valuation tools are a valuable plus
  • You are a self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with a getting-things-done mindset, willing to provide support to all colleagues
  • You are proactive and have a strong drive to improve tools and innovate procedures
  • Your very structured way of working, your strong analytical skills and your good command of English complete your profile
