What You Will Do
- You will take responsibility for managing the financial aspects of the recently incorporated holding company of the Solar Trade business of BayWa r.e. AG
- You will be in charge of bookkeeping, financial reporting incl. budgeting, cash management, payroll management and tax compliance, including managing outsourced services where appropriate
- You will ensure proper monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS
- You will implement one of the existing ERP systems in the group for the entity (either APplus or Netsuite)
- You will support on the restructuring of the group entities as various group companies are brought under the holding company
- You will be part of the broader group finance and controlling team and therefore support on other group topics
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on finance/accounting or comparable qualification (Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachwirt)
- At least 5 years of experience in Finance and / or Accounting
- Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting and German financial and tax regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and German across multiple levels or functions within the organization
- Experienced in working in an international and complex organization
- Flexibility combined with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Technically and digitally inclined and have experience with financial systems/applications (experience with APplus or Netsuite would be a plus)
