Our business activities include trading, project development and realization, consultancy services and technical/commercial operations management. We have positions at our locations in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Indonesia Malaysia and in the Philippines.
  Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Makati City and are currently looking for a Accountant - Philippines:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing all aspects of bookkeeping and reporting of Operating entity.
  • Supporting the team in the day-to-day operation including; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Petty cash, Travel & Expenses claim, Inventory, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Preparation and filing of BIR returns and other regulatory and statutory reports. Be able to navigate inside the BIR website without supervision and know how to deal with the BIR to update the Company's user access.
  • To ensure the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts are prepared and reported in an efficient and timely manner to meet tight deadlines and reporting to BayWa r.e. group.
  • Support the implementation of NetSuite system.
  • Responsible for audit documentation and coordinating with auditor for annual audit and ensure that the financial statements submitted to local authorities.
  • Able to liaise with company secretary, auditor, BIR and external business partners.
  • Reporting to trade controller (Thailand).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.

  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required.

  • Experienced employee specialized in Finance, General / Cost Accounting or equivalent.

  • Must be knowledgeable with rules and regulations of BIR and experience of VAT Law and Withholding Tax.

  • With substantial experience in handling BIR, SEC and Business Bureau related transactions is an advantage.

  • Required skill(s): Full Set of Accounting and familiar with accounting system (Quickbook and NetSuite is preferable).

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

  • Good English communication skill.

  • Confident, hardworking, dependable and good team player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

  • Hands-on and multitasking.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadline.
